Chart 01 / Managed security at scale

A large company is a deep hull in a narrow channel.

Several hundred seats, a dozen consoles, and four suppliers each answering for one slice of the company. Instruments are not what is missing aboard. A pilot is: somebody who has run this channel before, keeps one chart covering the entire passage, and is standing at the wheel at 3am when the depth alarm goes off. That is the work on sale here, priced line by line and settled on one card.

Chart 02 / Soundings

The bottom rises long before anybody feels it.

Damage at this size seldom arrives dramatically. It accumulates while the company grows and something quietly stops being anybody's responsibility. Four of them turn up more often than the rest whenever we take the opening soundings.

02 FM

The console nobody opens

Somebody bought the tool. It went in during a quarter when one engineer had the time. Two reorganisations later its alerts arrive at a distribution list three people have muted, while the licence renews itself every year without discussion. An unopened console is no control whatever. What it is, is a receipt.

03 FM

The seat that outlived the job

March: an analyst moved from finance into operations. June: a contract engagement wrapped up. Last year: an acquired team joined, carrying a directory of their own. Rights kept arriving and none were ever handed back, so today there are accounts able to reach a great deal more than anyone's present role calls for.

01 FM

The estate nobody has fully counted

Put the endpoint question to four managers and four answers come back, with the invoice agreeing with none of them. Water nobody has sounded is water nobody can steer around, and whatever quantity appears on a bill ought to describe hardware that genuinely exists.

02 FM

The restore nobody has attempted

Every job reports green overnight. Nobody has pulled the finance server back in full since the platform migration two summers ago. Green describes a job. Recovery is a rehearsal, and until somebody has done it while a clock runs, it has not been rehearsed.

Chart 03 / The stations

Six stations. One passage plan. One desk keeping watch.

Take whichever stations the passage calls for and leave the others alone. Each code carries its own rate per unit per month, and every one of them lands on a single account. Each chart describes what its station reads, the price of it, and the exact point where usefulness gives out.

STN 01SentinelOne + Fluency

Detection and watchkeeping

Sensors aboard the hardware, one correlation layer across the whole company, and analysts who take an action instead of forwarding a graph at breakfast.

  • Conduct based detection over Windows, over macOS, over Linux, and over cluster nodes.
  • Fluency lays separate sources onto a single chart, so an alert arrives already placed.
  • Three response grades, running from notify only through isolation and rollback.

STN 02ThreatLocker

Execution control

Clearance before berthing. Software that nobody cleared never starts on the machines holding whatever your company would least like to lose.

  • The roster gets assembled over a watching period, out of whatever staff were already running.
  • Cleared products stay followed through their release trains, so no Tuesday gets lost.
  • Ringfencing caps what a cleared program may launch, open, or talk to.

STN 03Ironscales

Mailbox signal traffic

Protection standing within the tenant itself, whether that is Microsoft or Google, plus the drilling that makes several hundred colleagues harder to deceive.

  • Joins over the API, then reads mail already sitting in the mailbox.
  • Impersonation and takeover detection, calibrated against your own mail flow.
  • Simulated mail and short training aimed at whoever the evidence points to.

STN 04N-able N-sight, with Addigy for Apple and Zimperium for handsets

Device fleet pilotage

Machines kept current, browsing filtered, Apple hardware finally under management, and handsets that something is at last watching.

  • N-able N-sight carries monitoring, updating, scripting, plus the remote hands.
  • Filtering rides along on that identical agent, and nothing at all gets racked.
  • Addigy runs the Apple population and Zimperium covers iOS and Android threats.

STN 05Actifile

Data cargo control

Weigh the regulated cargo first, because nothing governs a folder nobody can point to, and only afterward decide what anybody may do with any of it.

  • Sweeps endpoints and shares alike, hunting regulated and proprietary records.
  • Scores exposure machine by machine, and that score is how remediation gets ordered.
  • Encryption and channel rulings over the routes records genuinely depart by.

STN 06N-able Cove, alongside Dropsuite

Backup and anchorage

Copies riding at anchor a good way from whatever they protect, with recovery rehearsed instead of taken on trust.

  • Image and file copies lifted from workstations, from physical servers, from hypervisor guests.
  • N-able Cove covers the Microsoft tenant. Dropsuite handles Workspace, the directory itself, and the accounts.
  • Recovery testing on a schedule, so restoring is a fact with a date attached.

Chart 04 / Platforms

We did not write these. We pilot them.

It is a habit of this trade to hint that the platform got invented down the corridor. Ours was not. Underneath Independence IT Group are commercial products, chosen because they stay upright under load, licensed via Fortify 24x7, and watched every day by people paid to watch them. A named deck with a telephone number beats an unmarked hull on every voyage.

SentinelOne

Conduct based detection and unattended response, aboard each operating system this catalog covers, and aboard cluster nodes too.

Fluency

Retention and correlation spanning many sources, which is why one alert arrives with the surrounding traffic already attached.

ThreatLocker

Allowlisting, ringfencing, and elevation, pointed squarely at whichever machines hold what your company would least like to lose.

Ironscales

Mailbox-level protection working over the tenant API. Describing that as a gateway would be untrue, so nobody here does.

N-able N-sight

Monitoring, updating, scripting, remote hands, and name filtering, the lot of it arriving through a single agent.

Addigy

Built for Apple hardware, and pointed at Mac populations which outgrew their policy several years before anybody looked.

Zimperium

Threat defense reaching its conclusions on the handset itself, covering the Android handsets and the iOS handsets your people read mail on.

Actifile

Regulated records located, exposure scored machine by machine, and encryption applied along the routes out.

N-able Cove

Copies at image and file level, drawn off workstations, bare metal boxes, hypervisor guests, and a Microsoft 365 tenant.

Dropsuite

Copies covering a Google Workspace tenant, the configuration of an Entra directory, and the ledger inside QuickBooks Online.

Licensed via Fortify 24x7 and run by its own engineers
Chart 05 / The passage

What the opening fortnight genuinely looks like.

A steering committee is not required for any of this. A fortnight generally covers a company this size and leaves it quiet. Where the schedule slips, tuning is the cause far more often than deployment ever is.

01

Soundings taken

Thirty minutes on a call. Seat numbers, the platform mix, whoever is holding administrative keys, and what your company would least like losing. You walk away holding a list of line codes plus a monthly figure. Not a deck.

02

Card on file

Choose your codes on this site, then go through checkout. Stripe handles the card, and not a single digit travels our way. Billing repeats monthly, always up front, showing as FORTIFY 24X7 wherever a statement is read.

03

Agents away

Enrolment links and installers turn up in the chart room, more often than not while that same day is still running. Every platform takes its own route, and nobody at your end has to open a vendor console.

04

Tuning

Rosters settle down, filters gather up their exceptions, and copy timing gets matched to the volume genuinely sitting in front of us. That fortnight decides, more than anything else, whether the rollout stayed quiet.

05

On watch

Alerts arrive at our desk in place of your inbox. The chart room stays yours for lines, installers, and signals, with a named person at the far end of it.

Chart 06 / Honest scope

Water this subscription does not reach.

Total protection is promised on more or less every security page written this year. It will not be promised here, since nobody is actually selling it. What these codes honestly cover has an edge, and the edge is below.

  • Losses are not underwritten here. Nothing in this catalog is insurance. Should a policy be the thing you want, buy one from a carrier. More than a few carriers will want the controls named on this page live and running before they sign anything at all.
  • Applications your company builds sit outside this. Reviewing code, exercising an application, and setting a penetration tester on software your own people ship are distinct trades with distinct specialists. Naming that trade beats letting this pass as cover.
  • Somebody entitled to a file can still take it. Anybody cleared to open a document is equally free to retain a copy. Leaver process, regular review over who holds which rights, and however your employment agreements happen to be worded carry that weight. All three sit on your side.
  • Nothing is covered until it enrols. Each code applies to hardware which enrolled and to tenants which connected. A machine nobody put into the program falls outside every part of this, whatever an inventory happens to claim.
  • Your compliance program stays yours to run. Audits, gathering evidence, and negotiating with a framework belong to your team and to whoever assesses you. What these controls do is supply the evidence. They do not sit the exam on your behalf.
Chart 07 / Catalog

Twenty four codes, priced one unit and one month at a time.

Each figure arrives live out of billing, which keeps the number on screen identical to the number on the card. Enter whatever the passage calls for, adjust quantities inside the logbook, and go through checkout once the list looks right. The whole of it lands as one monthly subscription.

The live rates did not arrive. A reload usually settles that. Where the catalog stays empty, write to support@independenceitgroup.com and somebody will quote the passage by return.
